Owned by the Goring family (owners of the synonymous London hotel) since 1743, Wiston Estate was converted into a 16-acre vineyard on the south-facing chalk slopes of the Sussex South Downs in 2006. The estate is run according to sustainable principles, with no herbicides sprayed on the soil. Made in the traditional Champagne method, this is a classic equal blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier.

Orchard blossom, green apple and Williams pear lend freshness to the mature character of extended lees-ageing. Those in the know wont be surprised that Dermot Sugrue, flying English winemaker extraordinaire, is behind this top quality fizz.

Used by Her Majesty The Queen in 2015 to Christen the new Brittania cruise liner.
