The Palomino grapes for the ‘Deliciosa’ Manzanilla come from Valdespino’s single vineyard (Pago) Miraflores, which is situated in Sanlcar de Barrameda. This award winning Manzanilla is produced using the traditional method of the Solera and Criadera system. The ‘Deliciosa’ Manzanilla is matured in Sanlcar de Barrameda, a town on the Atlantic coast, where the gentle sea breezes help to give this sherry a very dry, light, crisp and slightly salty flavour. Fresh and pungent to the nose it is pale golden in colour with a delicate yeasty, bready note on the nose, as well as a hint of flower blossom. On the palate it is very dry, crisp and fresh with a slightly saline finish.
