William Lazell Phillips, better known to brothers as Uncle Billy, dedicated much of his life to SigEp. Uncle Billy served in many roles, including as the Fraternitys first Grand Secretary, first editor of the SigEp Journal and Grand President. Laying the foundation of what SigEp is today a pioneer among fraternities he founded dozens of new chapters while traveling to campuses around the country and publishing stories that kept alumni connected long after graduation. Each release of the SigEp Icons Series will feature a new SigEp Icon. We couldnt think of a better first choice than Uncle Billy. This full-bodied red blend reflects Uncle Billys unrelenting energy and bold spirit.

In his honor, we introduce you to SigEp Icons Series – Uncle Billy. This proprietary red blend from our award-winning winemaker Todd Heth exhibits dark blackberry, bing cherry and plum notes perfectly into layers of coffee and tobacco. The finish is dry with long lasting berry fruit. Silky but firm tannins, this wine is enjoyable now but has the ability to age well in the cellar.
