Umoya comes from the a Zulu word for spirit and is dedicated to the spirit of the wind that is essential to growing incredible grapes in South Africa. The hot temperatures are tempered (no pun intended) by the ocean winds and that makes the incredible fruit possible. The quality is immediately evident in this wine. It is savory and nuanced, absolutely exceptional. Notes of currant lead on the palate balanced by an herbaceous hint of green pepper. A truly stunning wine.
