Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay

A wonderful back story is par for the course in the wine industry and Tinwood is no exception.

Art Tukker took over his parents Iceberg lettuce farm, on Tinwood Lane at the foot of the South Downs in Sussex, in 2006. He had completed an agriculture and farming degree and then spent 2005 working in the Marlborough vineyards of New Zealand particularly with Mike and Claire Allen of Huia Vineyards. Returning to the UK, in 2007 he planted the first 48,000 vines (with help..!!) over 28 acres. He now has 110 acres under vine with the three sparkling wine varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

This English sparkling ros is made from 60% Pinot-Noir, 20% Pinot-Meunier and 20% Chardonnay grapes in collaboration with the wine-making skill of Ridgeview Wine Estate.

Delicious raspberry and strawberry flavours come through from the Pinot fruit while the Chardonnay adds freshness and poise.
