Marlborough Grner Veltliner produced in tiny quantites after Fiona Turner and Matt Thomson persuaded local growers to plant some, convinced of the Austrian grapes potential in New Zealand. The Grner has delicate floral and citrus aromas with a hint of orange blossom. There’s plenty of white peach, subtle peppery spice and mineral complexity giving a clean, crisp finish.
