Domaine du Changeon is an exciting new property recently set up by David Ledoux in Bourgueil. He previously had a twenty year career as a mechanical engineer in the car industry but always loved wine and his grandfather owned vineyards. He worked at the domaine under the old name (Bruno Dufeu) and then had the opportunity to buy the property and follow his own path. Changeon is the river that was originally diverted for the watermills of Bourgueil to operate and David chose this name as it passes near the domaine and is symbolic of his new direction. There are twelve hectares of vines, with eleven hectares of Cabernet Franc and half a hectare each of Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc.

Les Nomades Sauvignon Blanc comes from his new plantings and highlights the arrival of the non indigenous Crayfish on the label. The wine is fresh and crisp and would match shellfish very well.
