La Cometa is a more structured and refined expression of Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, showcasing depth and elegance. Sourced from older vines and made with minimal intervention, it opens with aromas of black plum, cassis, wild herbs, and a touch of graphite. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet graceful, with concentrated dark fruit flavours, firm but polished tannins, and a vibrant line of acidity. Gentle oak aging adds subtle spice and complexity without overshadowing the fruit. The finish is long, fresh, and layered, making La Cometa an excellent choice for cellaring or special occasions.
