Predominately from the Clements Hills and Palmero vineyards in Lodi, blended with fruit from Contra Costa County and Dry Creek Valley. Vivid heliotrope highlights in the glass, this is a world away from the inky, black wines of Californias past. Bursting with berry and bramble fruits and floral highlights, the aromas are fresh and immediately appealing. The palate has a fine, silken texture, with lively acidity and a very moderate 13.4% alcohol. Bright and buoyant, this is a playful and joyous wine that will pair with a wide variety of foods and can also be enjoyed on its own. It would work beautifully lightly chilled when the temperature is more Napa than Notting Hill.
