Mezcal Meteoro is made with 100% agave Espadin. Its made by maestro mezcalero Petronilo Rosario Altamirano in Las Margaritas, Oaxaca. Its a bold Espadin that has some bright fruity notes and a bit of smoke. It seems as though Meteoro is marketed mostly as mixer, and its very good for that purpose.

Mezcal Meteoro fell from the sky in February 2012. It’s made using traditional Oaxacan production methods. Their marketing is spectacular and their Instagram feed is worth following for entertainment sake. They’ve done well to market themselves as a unique mezcal and their product is good.
