The Matetic Corralillo Cabernet Sauvignon comes from some of the best vineyards in the Valle de Maipo region of Chile, characterised by the fresh breezes of the Andean mountains that temper the heat of the valley. The alluvial, well-drained soils of this region perfectly suit the Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Matured for sixteen months in French oak barrels this is a rich, classic style of Cabernet with lifted menthol notes mingling with red berry fruit, as well as gentle smoke and spice hues.
