ORGANIC / LOW SULPHITE / VEGAN
A natural wine that doesnt play by the rules, Little Bastard blends Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Mller-Thurgau, and Muscat into something bright, slightly funky, and irresistibly drinkable. Its aromatic and electric on the palate, fresh, and a bit untamed, with aromas of citrus and stone fruit.
Lively and zesty, with notes of grapefruit, elderflower, green apple, and a hint of tropical fruit. Theres a light spritz on the palate, giving it a super refreshing feel, with a touch of natural funk and a bone-dry finish. Unfiltered and slightly hazy, its a wine that feels alive in the glass: vibrant, aromatic, and totally unique!
Staffelter Hof is one of the oldest wineries in the world, with roots dating back over 1,000 years in Germanys Mosel Valley. Today, its run by Jan Matthias Klein, whos taken the estate in a bold, natural direction. He farms organically and makes wine with minimal intervention: wild ferments, no filtering, and low sulphur. His wines are playful, expressive, and full of personality.
The Mosel is one of Germanys most iconic wine regions, known for its steep vineyards, slate soils, and world-class Rieslings. Wines from the Mosel are often defined by their purity, precision, and bright acidity. But theres a new generation of winemakers, like those at Staffelter Hof, who are blending this deep-rooted tradition with a freer, more experimental approach, creating wines that are really expressive.
Pair it with anything fresh and flavourful: think sushi, Thai food, herby salads, or goats cheese. Its acidity and slight spritz make it great with spicy dishes or anything with citrus. Or just chill it down and enjoy it on its own; its the kind of wine that turns casual aperitif moments into something worth remembering.
