True to Komos craftsmanship, this Komos Tequila Reposado Rosa is made in Mexico using perfectly ripe 100% Blue Weber Agave, hand-harvested from the distinct terroirs of both the highlands and lowlands of the Tequila Valley in Jalisco. The pias are roasted in traditional stone ovens, and the aguamiel is naturally fermented and twice distilled in copper pot stills. It is then aged in the finest barrels with red grape skins, which impart a beautiful, natural pink hue. The final touch is gentle aeration: the winemaking technique of tumbling the liquid to make the mouthfeel softer and smoother, while adding a richness and roundness. The nose displays aromas of cinnamon-dusted rose petals, caramel apple and fresh agave. On the palate expectbutterscotch, dark chocolate, blackberries, plums, and dark cherries. The finish is long, rich and very smooth giving an impression of chocolate covered strawberries. The ceramic bottle is handmade by artisans and designed to be upcycled, each completely unique with its reactive glaze.
