Based in the village of Corpeau, Jean-Charles Fagot is not only a third generation vine-grower who studied at the viticultural college in Beaune, but also the owner of the local Auberge du Vieux Vigneron and a talented musician in his spare time. All the wines are fermented and aged in barrel in his cellar next to the church in Corpeau.

Jean-Charles harvests early to retain as much freshness and acidity as possible. While his wines do go through malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, this is a very lean, precise style of Rully blanc, with gorgeous fruit purity and beautiful freshness. A great alternative to a serious Chablis with just that little bit more weight.
