This 100% Pinot Noir offers dark red fruits, plum, and a touch of spice, balanced by lively acidity, earthy tannins, and a long finish. It perfectly straddles the line between light and full-bodied.
Crafted by Emmanuel Giboulot, a pioneer in organic viticulture with over four decades of expertise, this wine comes from the Hautes-Ctes de Nuits subregion of Burgundy. The vineyard, south-facing and planted in 1976, sits 5 km from Nuits-Saint-Georges on clay-limestone and white marl soils-an area with a winemaking history dating back to the 8th century.
Biodynamically farmed since 1985, the hand-harvested grapes are destemmed, fermented in wooden vats, and naturally extracted through traditional techniques. After settling, the wine ages for 18 months in old oak barrels, achieving depth, elegance, and harmony.
