Hambledon Classic Cuvee Rose English Sparkling Wine
Great as an aperitif but also a good companion to salmon fillet and desserts made with summer fruits and berries.
Since 1952 Hambledon have been producing their wines in England’s oldest commercial vineyard. In 1999, the current managing director acquired the vineyard with a view to restoring it to its former glory. The vineyards are on upper cretaceous belemite chalk, famous for sparkling wine production.
Today Hambledon comprises over 200 acres spread over numerous vineyard sites. Each vineyard is planted with chardonnay, pinot noir andpinot meunier the three grape varieties most commonly used in the production of champagne.
