Born in the mountains, raised by the sea. Cheers Wine Merchants and The Gower Gin Company are delighted to launch an independent bottling of Penderyn Single Malt Welsh Whisky finished in Mr-Ladron rum casks under the GWYR brand.

The original whisky is a 4-year-old ex-bourbon cask matured single malt from Penderyns pot stills. It has been finished in larger and smaller Mr-Ladron rum casks for 12 months and is bottled at the cask strength of 59.3%

Intense tropical fruit on the nose, pear and banana with a definite influence of oak. The palate is more concentrated with more ripe fruit salad esters, vanilla and toasted bread. The finish is long and very complex.

Batch 1 will consist of 250 numbered bottles.
