This expression begins as a sevenyearaged malt distilled from 100% Irish barley at Glendalough Distillery in Wicklow. After maturation in exbourbon barrels, it is finished for 812 months in rare Japanese Mizunara oak from Hokkaido. Mizunara’s porous grain imparts exotic wood flavorssandalwood, cinnamon, dark chocolatewhile preserving the whiskey’s bright, floral Irish character.
Nose: Vibrant, fruity, and floralwith orchard fruit, honey, dark chocolate orange, sandalwood, and cinnamon
Palate: Luxurious and smooth, layered with ptisserie spice, stewed fruits, citrus blossom, dark chocolate, and oriental incense
