The purpose here is to use the younger vineyards to create a fresh, fruity, youthfulNebbiolo that’s bursting with vibrant red berries, and crisp minerality, the soft tanninslead to an incredibly a more-ish finish.

A great pairing for game birds and a wine that will continue to develop over time but is fantastic in it’s youth.

Giuseppe Cortese has been making wines in Piedmonte since 1971, his sons and daughters now help in the winery and vineyards and they even have a small B&B on site for visitors. Their flagship Barbaresco is a serious beast and they have a number of different wines from around the region including Dolcetto D’Alba and here the Langhe Nebbiolo.
