The legend says that whole walnuts need to be picked on the day of San Giovanni. Don Ciccio & Figli follows the same tradition, starting the process on June 24th. The green walnuts are hand-harvested in early-mid June and maceratefor 8 months and agein steel vats for 3 months. A bittersweet liqueur with aromas of green walnuts, brown spices, vanilla and ripe berries with a long and rich finish.
