Le Grand Rochoy is made exclusively from the oldest vines on a 2.5 hectare plot on the Domaine du Rochoy hillside. This is unique in the region of Sancerre for its flinty soil, which soaks up heat in the daytime and slowly re-radiates it at night. This wine is a pure and elegant expression of its origin, and reveals an elegance and character quite unlike any other. It has exceptional keeping potential, of up to 10 years from vintage.
