Complex and distinct with lots of peach, creme brulee and spice. The wine is rich and sweet with great body and structure balanced with mouth watering acidity.
A fantastic pairing with anything spicy or strong cheeses.
“Bott-Geyl’s wines really embody the essence of Alsace with their rich and aromatic profile. This has exotic fruits, honey, and a hint of spice that lingers and offers a luxurious texture. I’d enjoy this with roasted cauliflower steak seasoned with cumin.”
Jean-Christophe Bott has been responsible for Domaine Bott-Geyl since 1993 and under his watch the vineyards have been converted to organic status in 200 and biodynamic in 2002. Low yields of high quality and minimal intervention in the cellar mean that the focus is firmly set on expressing the unique, natural qualities of the terroir.
