ORGANIC (UNCERTIFIED)/VEGAN/LOW SULPHITE

Another killer orange by the Slobodne family, this time 100% Pinot Gris. Destemmed grapes with 2 weeks of skin contact, spontaneous fermentation outdoors, and then aged in steel for 18 months. Floral, fruity, funky, fresh.

The vineyard has been reclaimed by the Jewish family who still runs it, afterit was lost twice: to WWII and then to the communist government. The current generation is invested in natural wines and biodiversity; particularly working with skin contact offerings and constant experimentation in their processes.
