For the past 20 years, Cochon DOr has grown their vines on the clay and limestone soils of the Comt Tolosan area in Gascony. This area benefits hugely from the climate influence of the Atlantic Ocean, lending freshness and acidity to the grapes and making it perfect for white wine production.
The grapes are picked at night and maintain contact with the skins for six hours during the extraction process. After a gentle pressing, the fermentation is carried out at cold temperatures, enhancing the subtle fruit flavors, followed by a 3-month aging process.
Cochon DOr Reserve Blanc is a fresh and aromatic wine. Crisp and lively with an abundance of peach, honey, apple and tangy citrus fruit on the palate. A refreshing and highly quaffable wine. We recommend enjoying on its own as an apritif, with soup or with fish.
