L’Extravagant de Doisy-Dane was created in 1990. This rare and exceptional wine is the fruit of the experiment carried out by Denis Dubourdieu. He wanted to work on making a cuve from a Sauvignon Blanc varietal that had been affected by noble rot and had reached an extreme stage.

The grapes are harvested at the beginning of November showcased a high sugar content, a high alcohol potential and very concentrated grapes. Since 1990, only very fine vintages have been produced, and in strictly confidential quantities.
