Thivin – the benchmark producer in the Cte de Brouilly, if not the entirety of Beaujolais – blends seven of the best parcels (hence, Les Sept Vignes) from different positions around the slopes of Mt Brouilly – each one adding a complexity to the final wine. The result is a lip-smacking red that dances around the palate with peppery spice and wild strawberry. Vivacious and earthy in youth, it gains generosity and structure with a bit of age – well, dont we all? Drink to 2028+.

Pairs well with duck breast, other red meats, Lyonnaise cuisine and lightly spiced Asian-style dishes.
