Chateau De Fleurie Fleurie
From the heart of Beaujolais, this expressive red wine comes from the historic 18th-century Chateau de Fleurie. Owned by the Barbet and Roclore families, direct descendants of Jean Loron, the estate spans nine hectares of vines, mostly in the commune of Fleurie.
The wine is vinified using traditional ancestral methods, with partial destemming and long vatting under a chapeau grill. After fermentation, it is matured in both vats and seasoned oak casks for eight to nine months. Several plots lie within renowned lieux-dits including Les Rochaux, Point du Jour, La Madone and Le Bourg, where sandy granite soils contribute finesse and aromatic depth.
Perfect with roast chicken, charcuterie, or soft cheeses like Brie de Meaux.
