Banhez Ensemble Joven Mezcal

Banhez Joven Mezcal is an artisanal mezcal crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico. Known for its smooth, balanced profile and accessibility to both mezcal newcomers and aficionados. Produced by a cooperative of small-scale farmers, Banhez Mezcal celebrates traditional, sustainable production methods while offering a light, floral, and slightly smoky spirit.

Banhez Joven is made using 90% Espadn and 10% Barril agave. A blend that creates a uniquely fruity and herbaceous character. The agave is roasted in underground pits, crushed using a traditional tahona stone, and fermented naturally before being double-distilled in copper pot stills.
