Room 47, West Range was at the outer limit of Mr. Jeffersons academical village at the University of Virginia. Heated by a wood fire, it opened onto an arcade that ran the length of the Range. On the evening on Sunday, March 1, 1868, a small group of young men from different backgrounds met in this room to form a brotherhood that would span generations and the world. It is because of this night that 47 will always mean something special to brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha.

We introduce you to 47. Our flagship Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic representation of the appellations preeminent varietal. Notes of of black cherry, blackberry and plum are complemented by hits of toasted oak, dried currant and baking spice. Fine-grained tannins and ample brightness on the palate give way to a polished mouthfeel and exceptionally long finish.
