94-98 points Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy: “Both the Bart Grands Crus have been made with 40% whole bunch vinification and 50% new wood. Dense purple with a black interior, no problem here with a beautifully rich yet balanced nose. Dark cherry with mulberry inflections on the palate, optimum shading to maximum ripeness, brought back into the frame by the clean long and fresh finish. No discordant tannins just a whole bunch freshness. Really persistent though!!”
