In 1897, at the age of 27, Leonard Kreusch, founded the family winery and began producing wines commercially. Upon the repeal of Prohibition, the family began export of their wines to the U.S. In 1950, Leonard Kreusch, Inc. was founded as a corporation in the state of New Jersey to serve as sole importer and distributor of the brand. Over 60 years later – now in the fourth generation – the company remains family-owned and operated and continues their mission of offering outstanding quality and value in, not only German wines, but also those from Europe?s best regions.
