Taking its name from Tenerife’s unique trellising method, el cordn trenzado, where vine branches are braided together, sometimes stretching for meters. Tenerife’s rich winemaking history includes indigenous varieties like Listn Negro, Tintilla, and Baboso Negro, often grown on vines over a century old, many trained in the distinctive braided style.

Suertes del Marqus sources its grapes from the Orotava Valley on the island’s cooler north side, where steep volcanic slopes and clay soils nurture low-yielding, ancient vines. Their wines showcase remarkable freshness, balance, and a pure expression of Tenerife’s terroir.
