Luigi Pira’s Barolo Serralunga, is sourced from Nebbiolo vines grown in vineyards that are located in the lowest part of Marenca and Margheria that date back to the late 1950’s. Its western exposure and the calcareous-clayish soil give a classic and full-bodied Barolo style. Aged for 24 months in large wooden barrels the wine is garnet red in colour with classic Barolo aromas, notes of leather, hay, earth and spices.
