Ardbeg Uigeadail Single Malt Whisky

Dramatically perched on the southern edge of the island of Islay, surrounded by treacherous seas and battered by strong winds, Ardbeg Distillery has produced one of the heaviest and peatiest malts likely to be encountered. The distillery in its current form was founded by the MacDougall family (with John MacDougall being the most prominent). In 1997, the distillery was acquired by Glenmorangie plc who have invested heavily in the distillery.
