This is 100% Rubin – an indigenous Bulgarian red grape variety, created in 1944 through crossbreeding of Syrah & Nebbiolo and considered to be one of the countrys best local red grapes.

40% of the wine is aged for 10 months in Bulgarian oak barrels, 60 % in used French oak barrels.

Pronounced red fruit, raspberry and black cherry aromas in the nose, added to be an elegant palate, medium-to-full bodied with medium tannins and intense notes of darkchocolate, spices, vanilla, lovely long finish
