The grapes are from various locations, including the renowned J. Lohr Estates Seven Oaks vineyard, as well as the newly established sites of J. Lohr Sinclair and J. Lohr Jones Ranches situated to the north.
The diversity of soil compositions across these vineyards enriches the wine with intricate layers of flavour. Following production, the wine is meticulously aged for 12 months in 60-gallon oak barrels sourced from Missouri and Minnesota, further enhancing its distinctive qualities.
