The mild and rainy winter gave way to springtime, during which the growing cycle began. Flowering began prosperously at the end of May with hot, dry weather. The summer was cooler and more wet than usual, but it led to a radiant autumn season which enabled the grapes to reach a beautiful maturity, intensity and freshness. Harvested at full maturity, the grapes undergo a rigorous selection by optical sorting. Fermentation in temperature-controlled concrete vats precedes a 12-month aging period in 225-liter French oak barrels (1/3 new barrels, 1/3 one-year-old barrels and 1/3 two-year-old barrels). 13.0% ABV
