The Turley Estate Zinfandel is sourced from a wonderful vineyard that adjoins the winery and family home in St. Helena. The team at Turley have slowly and steadily planted additional head-trained, dry-farmed Zinfandel vines to complement the original planting from the mid-1990s and the entire property is certified organic. At the winery the wine is aged for 15 months in a combination of French (80%) and American (20%) oak of which 80% is used and 20% is new. Bottled unfined and unfiltered the Turley Estate Zinfandel offers blue and dark fruits, orange zest, anise, and a hint of Moroccan spiced lamb.
