Etienne Sauzet’s La Tuferapunches far above its AOC status. It is sourced from four parcels in Puligny-Montrachet, where the vines are on average 50 years old. Aged in used oak barrels and steel cuves, it opens up with agorgeously inviting, floral nose of honeysuckle and yellow fruit. The palate displays mirabelle flavours, backed up by a gripping, taut note of grapefruit and stone.
