Sandeman is the famous Port & Sherry house, founded in 1790. It’s famous logo depicts a man wearing a Portuguese student’s cape as a nod to their Port business and a Spanish wide brimmed hat as a nod to the Sherry business. The Sandeman “Don” as he is known became one of the worlds first brand images and is still very much recognised brand image today.

Theport has an intense and bright red tawny colour with shades of brick red, typical of this style of Port. The aroma is elegant and complex, combining ripe fruit, jam and nuts, with hints of vanilla and raisins. Sandeman 10 Year Old Tawny is an incredibly flavoursome, full-bodied and appealing wine, with a very persistent finish. Serve this chilled in a proper wine glass to allow the perfumes to express themselves.
