The grapes for this inky black red wine are sourced from southern Sicily, around Riesi – the traditional heartland of Nero d’Avola.This is adeeply coloured, full-flavoured, spicy red with perfumed aromas of wild strawberry and black cherry. The palate combines abundant brambly fruit flavours with lightly smoky and savoury notes, a hint of bitter chocolate and structured tannins.
